Gunadarma University to Meet Family of Bullying Victim

TEMPO.CO, Depok - Gunadarma University will meet the family of MT, a student who was bullied at the campus. “We were summoned this morning; they said the rectorate wants to meet the family of the victim of bullying,” the brother in-law of MF parent John Posuma said today.


John said that he has no idea what the subject of the meeting would be. MF parents had earlier met the campus management on Monday to discuss the student’s condition. “I don’t know what today’s agenda would be,” he said.

The meeting was scheduled for this morning, according to John. However, as of 10:50 am, the family had not received further information.


MF is a student in the class of 2016 for informatics system at the Faculty of Computer Science and IT, Gunadarma University. A video that has gone viral on social media shows that he was bullied by his classmates.


The family has demanded Gunadarma University to impose harsh sanctions to the bullies.


MF Father, Mansyur, added that the family will take legal action against the campus if it fails to do so, in which related to the bullying incident.
