No Need to Panic About Brexit, Analyst Says

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Reza Priyambada, Head Researcher from NongHyup Korindo Securities Indonesia said that Indonesia does not need to panic in facing Great Britain's decision to leave the European Union (Brexit). Reza said that trade value between Indonesia and Britain is not significant.
Reza stated that export value between Indonesia and ASEAN countries is larger compared to England.
"Indonesia's export to ASEAN reaches up to 21.74 percent while export to European countries only reaches 11.33 percent," Reza said in a press release dated Friday, June 24, 2016.
Reza added that import values between Indonesia and ASEAN of 22.26 percent is also larger compared to import between Indonesia and the European Union, which only reaches 9.51 percent.
