TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek (KCJ) is thankful for the operation of Transjakarta feeder bus which will stop at Tebet Station beginning today, April 4. The operation of the feeder bus connects to the routes of Transjakarta corridors 5, 6 and 7.

“This is a positive response from the Jakarta Administration and PT Transportasi Jakarta towards the proposal of PT KCJ related to the intermodal a few months ago,” PT KCJ CEO Muhammad Nurul Fadhila told Tempo.

The Transjakarta feeder bus stopping near Tebet Station will help the mobility of train passengers. Fadhila expected the same service from Transjakarta would also be available at other stations including at Manggarai, Duren Kalibata and Palmerah in the future.

The route of Transjakarta feeders heading to Transjakarta corridor 6 are passing by Saharjo flyover, Jalan Casablanca, Rasuna Said, and Dr. Satrio. Then the bus will turn around besides Sampoerna Strategic Square to return to Tebet Station.

Meanwhile, Transjakarta buses heading to corridor 5 and 7 from Tebet Station will go to Kampung Melayu, corridor 5, Jalan Jatinegara Barat. The bus will then turn around to Kebon Pala and head to Jalan Jatinegara Timur, Kampung Melayu Terminal, then pass through corridor 7 and head to Jalan Otista. It will then turn around at Bidara Cina to return to Tebet Station.

PT KCJ Communication Manager Eva Chairunisa said these buses will help the mobility of more than 22,500 train passengers stopping and going to Tebet Station every day.
