TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jessica Kumala Wongso, suspect of the premeditated murder of Wayan Mirna Salihin, will be examined by psychiatrist at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) later this afternoon. "Jessica [will be] examined by psychiatrist for investigators needs," said Andi Yusuf, Jessica's lawyer to Tempo on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
Andi said that Jessica's overall health condition is good and stated that his client has not made any complaints. Andy explained that Jessica will be examined at the RSCM based on the hospital's request.
Sr. Comr. Krishna Murti, Director of General Crime Investigation said that the examination will be conducted to confirm Jessica's mental health condition. "There are already four psychologist ordered [to examine Jessica]," Krishna said.
Krishna explained that the examination by the psychiatrist is needed to confirm and support the validity of currently available evidence.
