TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pieter Ell, lawyer of Robbie Abbas in a high-profile prostitution case, said Wednesday, September 2, that the judge has ordered prosecutor to summon witnesses, notably actresses, for the next session of court.
Pieter said that the three witnesses will be questioned in relation to adultery allegation upon the arrest of Robbie Abbas.
Robbie Abbas’ case went viral when the police arrested Robbie, along with model Amel Alvi, allegedly involved in prostitution. Investigation revealed that Robbie has worked as a pimp, offering high class escorts.
The judge has named Tyas Mirasih and Shinta Bachir in Amel Alvi’s case, in which they are asked to come Thursday. Prosecutor Donald Situmorang has said that the witnesses will be picked up against will, if they resisted.
Robbie in his testimony claimed that his clients included a number of top-notch figures such as state officials. Following his arrest, a list of initials and tariffs of his escorts also emerged and made headlines.
