TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Juventus celebrated victory when playing away against Empoli 2-0, yesterday morning. The defending Italian League champion is now three point clear at the top of of Serie A as AS Roma was beaten by Napoli 0-2 at earlier game.
Andrea Pirlo contributed one winning goal as he scored his first goal of the season at the 61 minute. Not long after, Alvaro Morato widen the gap at the 71 minute through his curving left-foot shot.
"I'm improving, I'm working hard during the week and I feel better every match," Pirlo said as quoted by USA Today.
"It was a difficult match but we risked little, we grew in the second half and closed the match."
In other Italian League matches, Parma stunned Inter Milan 2-0 and leaving the bottom rank to advance to the 18th place with six points.
