Lion Air Provides Extra Plane to Transport Family of Victims

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Managing Director of Lion Air Group, Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi, said the airline had prepared the extra plane from Pangkal Pinang to Jakarta, for the families of the victims of the Lion Air JT 610 plane crash.

Daniel said the families of the victims had been flown from Pangkal Pinang to Jakarta using the plane that was prepared gradually.

“One plane has landed. If needed, we will prepare it again,” Daniel said at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Monday, October 29.

Daniel stated that Lion Air also prepared the Crisis Center in Pangkal Pinang and Jakarta. “Lion Air’s management expresses its condolences," he said.

The Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said, 90 people from the families of victims from various regions had arrived in Jakarta.

“We prepare accommodation facilities (lodging), and the information center at Ibis hotels in the Cawang area, East Jakarta, to facilitate the mobility to the Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport post,” Danang said.

According to Danang, on Monday night, October 29, as many as 76 people from the families of victims of the Lion Air JT 610 plane crash, will arrive in Jakarta.
