TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi targetted the Bogor - Ciawi - Sukabumi (Bocimi) toll road project for the Ciawi through the Cigombong lane could be operational this year. The 15.35-kilometer toll road is planned to be opened in July.
"The Ciawi - Cigombong toll can greatly reduce the traffic congestion once it's opened," the president said during observation in the location yesterday, April 8.
Jokowi said the toll road could effectively reduce the crowd of the traffic if the operation reached Cibadak because the most crowded one is in Cibadak.

The government targets the Ciawi-Cibadak toll road to complete in 2019 and it will continue to East Sukabumi which is targetted to finish in 2020.
The president is optimistic that the Bocimi toll road can be operational as per deadline as he said that there was no land acquisition reported.
Jokowi observed the Bocimi Toll project during the trip back home with RI-1 special train from Cibadak Station, Sukabumi, to Bogor Station. The train was stopped in the middle of the railway for 15 minutes.
