TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Narcotics Agency (BNN) deputy of eradication Insp. General Arman Depari said BNN has seized 250 kg crystal meth from an Aceh-Malaysia drugs network. In the last operation, the BNN seized 40 kg crystal meth that was about to be smuggled from Malaysia to Indonesia through Idi Rayeuk on January 10.
Arman said, if the crystal meth was successfully smuggled, it would be distributed to North Sumatra, South Sumatra and Jakarta. It was smuggled by four Acehnese suspects with initials HR, A, J, and S.

So far, the officers are chasing the two brains of the syndicate who also served as drug dealers. The operation is controlled from Indonesia and Malaysia.
The crystal meth was shipped from Penang, Malaysia, to Indonesia via Aceh. Upon arrival at an Indonesian port, it was fully controlled by the Indonesian people.
“So, the Malaysian network is only in charge of delivering it,” he said.
The BNN also seized 30,665.5 grams of crystal meth from the Aceh-Malaysia international network at Orchadz Hotel, Gunung Sahari, Central Jakarta, in August 2016. At that time, the BNN arrested five people individuals and named them as suspects.

Two suspects are foreigners with initials of SL and MA. The rest of them are are DF, SM, and IS. The five men acted as the couriers.
