TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Many large corporations are looking to hire young and specific-skilled individuals. This situation makes it hard resist for young people searching for work.

Here are five tips that may help you find achieve your dream career in a well-known multinational corporation.

1. Take time to compose a memorable CV

Chances are that recruiters from large companies only read CVs that end up on their desk for a fraction of a minute considering the large amount of CV they receive. This does not mean that you do not need waste time to compose a memorable one. Just remember that the letter is your initial step to a work interview. A little bit of creativity and hard work can make your CV stand out from the others.

2. Prove that you are a hard worker and can adapt quickly

It doesn’t matter what your specialty is, recruiters are certain that you have reached a certain level of skill in your field. Companies do not recruit you just to train you, but they expect you to immediately perform once you are recruited. Having a great learning potential is essential, but during an interview, you must be able to convince them that you are able to work hard and adaptable.

3. Show that you are a multitasker

Renowned companies often look for individuals that have multiple skill sets. Being skillful in one field does not guarantee that you will be able to achieve your dream job. Having variations of skillsets can make you a valuable asset to a company.

4. Show your gratitude towards your company and line of work

You may be wanting a certain job for self-satisfaction, and not exclusively for the money. That also applies to job recruiters that are looking for a candidate that is passionate towards what the company is passionate about too. Companies are more likely to choose you when you show passion and excitement towards the job.

5. Be confident

In order to own a company’s trust, you must show that you are confident enough according to the company’s standards. Your self-confidence must translate physically in the form of your attitude during an interview. Do not hesitate to talk about your skills and experience.
