TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Setya Novanto insists that he is still the House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker despite growing pressure to step down after being detained as a suspect in the electronic ID cards (e-KTP) graft case.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday questioned Setya Novanto as a suspect in the graft case that caused Rp2.3 trillion in state losses.

The Golkar Party chairman said he is in good condition after being detained at the KPK detention house in East Jakarta.

As of now, the KPK has questioned Novanto as a suspect for three times.
