Night Bus Wins Best Movie at FFI 2017

TEMPO.CO, Manado - Producer of Night Bus , Darius Sinathrya did not expect that the movie he produced for the first time would receive the highest appreciation at the 2017 Festival Film Indonesia (FFI).

The movie that features stars such as Teuku Rifnu Wikana successfully beat movies such as Pengabdi Setan, Kartini, Cek Toko Sebelah, and Posesif.

“I’m still in shock, we did not expect to be able to win the best film,” said Darius. He said that previous to the award ceremony, he was already glad that the movie he produced was nominated at the 2017 FFI.

The movie Night Bus was directed by Emil Heradi and tells a story about his journey to Sampar in the middle of a suspenseful night. This movie tells a story about a victim of a separatist conflict where Teuku Rifnu plays as the movie’s main character.
