TEMPO.CO, Bekasi - The Persib Bandung and Persipura Jayapura under-19 football team are set to face each other in the final Liga 1 U-19 competition held at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium today on November 7.
“We are prepared for tomorrow’s battle,” said Persib Bandung U-19 team coach Budiman yesterday.
He announced that his valuable attacking midfielder, Asep Saepul Mukmin is fit to play in the upcoming match and is set to be paired with Beckham Putra in the front line. Asep was absent in the team’s previous match against Borneo FC, which ended with a 1-0 score.
Budiman also revealed that the team’s infamous fans “the Bobotoh” will also be present in the match, which in itself acts as an added moral support for Persib Bandung to win the match.
Meanwhile, Persipura U-19 team coach Abdul Manaf is optimistic that his team will be able to defeat Persib even though the upcoming match is held in West Java, which is close to Bandung.
Abdul Manaf announced that his team will not crumble under the pressure of Persib supporters.
