TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - South Korea-based carrier Korean Air will operate flights from South Korea to Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). “Korean Air will launch seven chartered flights,” Lombok International Airport (LIA) General Manager I Gusti Ngurah Ardita said yesterday, May 29, in Mataram.
Ardita said that the airline based in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, will arrive at Lombok International Airport from July 29 until late August.
“We expect the chartered flights to pave the way for fixed routes between Korea and Lombok,” Ardita said in a meeting with General Manager South East Asia/Oceania Route Network Center Passenger Network & Sales Bae Sang-wook and Regional Manager Indonesia Park Kee-hyun.
According to him, the Korean Air’s planned chartered flights have been agreed following a meeting on April 25.
