TEMPO.CO, Bali - The government of Bali Province will continue to help promote and introduce all village tourism in Bali.
Head of Tourism Service Bali Province Anak Agung Gede Yuniartha Putra says he will be partnering with travel agents and hotels in Bali to participate in promoting village tourism.
“We have already spoken to the Bali Travel Agency Association (Asita) and said they are ready to help with the promotion. In addition, we plan to meet with hotels because we do not recommend that village tourism must create a homestay,” Yuniartha said in Denpasar on Monday, Apr 25.
Yuniartha say he has yet provide funds to promote village tourism. Later on, the promotion will be aided by Asita Bali by creating a travel package via exhibitions held in outside of Bali and abroad.
“We also have a village tourism communication forum, and they will be showinng what a standard village tourism must look like in accordance with the contour of each region, as well as giving guidance,” said Yuniartha.
Asita Bali Chairman I Ketut Ardana says a number of travel agencies in Bali have already provide packages that offers village tourism sites. “Village tourism has always attracted tourists, as they can witness many things that does not exist in their country. Its Bali’s unique culture that is enjoyed by tourists,” he said.
Generally, tourists from Europe, US, and Asia loves village tourism. “Later on in the field, we will also participate in giving suggestions like accessibility, facility, and others in village tourism,” Ardana said.
