TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The annual Jakarta Toys and Comics Fair 2016 is back for its 12th anniversary. After successfully drew more than 24,000 visitors last year, this year`s event--which held from March 5 until 6, 2016--has now seen at least 10,000 visitors in its first day. Sacca Production, the event organizer, is confident that this year`s event could attract more than 25,000 visitors.
There were at least 250 participants that set up their stalls to sell comic books, various animation and movie characters in action figure forms, or dolls. The figures were displayed in glass display boxes so visitors could see them without damaging any of the toys. Half of the toys that were displayed were also meant for sale.

The Legoland Malaysia also set up their stall at the event to promote its 4D Lego Movie at the Legoland Malaysia Resort which opened February 27th.

Some of them even followed the cosplay competition that was held within the event. Many of the cosplayers performed their act with stunning choreographed fighting scene.
"This international event will become the catalyst for the spirits of local [toys] creators so they will be brave enough to showcase their craftmanships so that the national creative industry could compete with foreign toys producers by means of quality," said Riza Satyagraha, the event`s promoter.
