TEMPO.CO, Padang - Moroccan cyclist, Soufine Haddi, has become the fastest in the eighth stage of the Tour de Singkarak yesterday, with 4 hours 25.8 minutes recorded time. The hardest stage extended as far as 167 kilometer from Sawahlunto to Padang Aro, in South Solok Regency.
The Skydive Dubai cyclist was followed by Pisghaman Yazd cyclists, Amir Zargari and Ramin Mehrbanizar on the second and third place.
Mehbaniazar also claimed the polkadot jersey as he won the title for the King of Mountain (KOM) with a total of 40 points. Behind Mehbaniazar was Junrey Navarra of the Philippines with 32 points.
Despite the tough terrain, the total 88 cyclists were surrounded by the beautiful natural view along the route.
