The Raid 2 Premieres at ARTE Festival

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian action film 'The Raid 2: Berandal' will be the opening event of the ARTE Indonesia Arts Festival which will be held on March 14 to 16 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta. The screening will be the premiere of the movie in Indonesia after its opening at the Sundance festival on December 2013.

"The Raid 2: Berandal will be screened in the festival's opening. However, not all ARTE members will be able to watch the film, only the festival participants will have the opportunity," said Bayu Aji, the Executive Chairman of ARTE Indonesia Arts Festival 2014 on Wednesday, March 5. Maya Evans, one of the producers of 'The Raid 2: Berandal', said it is an honor to open the festival.

'The Raid 2: Berandal' will be launched on cinemas in Indonesia starting from March 28. The film by Gareth Evans had previously garnered a standing ovation from audiences of Sundance Film Festival in the United States.
