Police Impose 'Shoot on Sight' Policy for Motor Gang Thugs

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java Chief of Police instructed his ranks to shoot on sight against the motorcyclist gangs that recently often got involved in crime. "All penal violators must be punished," said Inspector General Muhammad Iriawan.
Such assertive instruction was taken as preventive measures and suggestions had failed to contain the punks in bike. "Let the society worry no more of them," he added. Iriawan added that his institution is set to put motor gang crime thugs behind bars.
Moreover, Tasikmalaya City Police remained investigating the orientation program of XTC motor gang at Urug, Kawalu District. Tasikmalaya Chief of Police Senior Commissioner Noffan Widyayoko, mentioned that several motor gang crimes that occured in Tasikmalaya included violence, "as if they were trained to commit such," he uttered.
