TEMPO.CO, Jakarta- The increasing trend of Muslim fashion in Indonesia has opened up a wider market and many claim that Indonesia will be the Islamic fashion center of the world by 2012.
"The business world has even taken an interest in Muslim fashion as an industry that has its own appeal," stated Irna Mutiara, head of the Indonesia Islamic Fashion Fair (IIFF) 2013.
In order to celebrate this development, the annual Muslim fashion event, IIFF 2013, will continue to run from May 30 until June 2. The theme of the event this year is ‘Style Unlimited’ and it will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in Senayan.
The event will highlight Indonesia’s lavishness that is not yet generally known to Muslim fashion producers.
The event will include all generations of fashion designers, various communities, and brands such as Itang Yunaz, Ida Royani, Ria Miranda, and Dian Pelangi. As many as 182 brands are scheduled to participate in this event.
