TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Campaign Agency (BPN) Prabowo-Sandiaga spokesperson, Ferry Juliantono, said his team would review the position of Ratna Sarumpaet as the campaigner of presidential-vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno. According to Ferry, Ratna’s lie on the assault against her was a fatal mistake.
“Her position will be evaluated because we commit to campaigning anti-money politics, anti-politicization of SARA, and anti-hoax, “ said Ferry in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 3.
Upon her act, Ferry said, Ratna might be discharged as the campaigner of Prabowo-Sandiaga.

Earlier, Ratna reportedly had been physically assaulted in Bandung, September 21. Her lawyer and several figures including Gerindra deputy chairman Fadli Zon and politician Rachel Maryam confirmed the news, and many activists and figures declared supports for Ratna.
However, Ratna then claimed that it was a lie and said her bruised face was caused by the cosmetics procedures she underwent.
According to Ferry, members of BPN Prabowo-Sandiaga had not thought Ratna would tell a lie and then responded to the news proportionally. But when the truth revealed, stern action would be taken.
“We believe her statement in the beginning because it is the form of our solidarity and we also commit on the anti-violence, let alone she is a woman,” he said, adding that Prabowo Subianto and several elites of BPN Praobwo-Sandiaga did not relate to Ratna Sarumpaet’s lie.
