TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Los Angeles heavy metal band, Megadeth is confirmed to perform in Indonesia for the second time. After their first visit in May of 2017, the group that consists of Dave Mustaine, Kiko Loureiro, David Ellefon, dan Dirk Vebeuren, will be performing at the 2018 JogjaRockarta music festival.
“Megadeth is set to perform on the stage of the 2018 JogjaRockarta at Kridosono Stadium in Yogyakarta, October 27,” said Anas Syahrul Alimi, CEO of the show’s promoter, Rajawali Indonesia Communication on Sunday, June 10.
Megadeth’s attendance in Yogyakarta will be one of many events in the band’s world tour across Europe, United States, and Asia throughout 2018, and to celebrate the band’s 35th anniversary.
The ever-popular 80s heavy metal band once performed in front of thousands of its loyal fans, the Cyber Armies in Medan back in 2001 before performing again in Jakarta back in 2007.
This is the second time that Rajawali Indonesia Communication held the JogjaRockarta, prior to Megadeth, the music promoter featured progressive rock band Dream Theater in the 2017 JogjaRockarta.
