Machmud hopes the bodies will soon be handed over to their family unless if the families do not pick them up, the police will bury them. Of the 13 death tolls, one body has not been picked up by the family.
In addition to the death toll, the 33 injured are currently being treated in several hospitals.
A series of Surabaya bombings within three to five minutes interval occurred in three churches at Jalan Ngagel Madya, Jalan Diponegoro, and Jalan Arjuno. In the evening, a suicide bomb also exploded at flats in Wonocolo, Sidoarjo, and the next day it occurred at Surabaya Police HQ.
