Alumni 212 Brotherhood Compares Sukmawati Soekarnoputri to Ahok

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Alumni 212 Brotherhood considers the poetry by Sukmawati Soekarnoputri contains more blasphemy than the words by the former Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok on Al Maidah verse.
The spokesman of the Alumni 212 Brotherhood, Novel Bamukmin said today they would report Sukmawati to the Police Headquarters Criminal Investigation Unit.

The poem titled Ibu Indonesia (Indonesian Mother) read by Sukmawati in the ‘29th Work of Anne Avantie' event in Indonesia Fashion Week 2018 on March 29, reap the polemic, because it is considered harassing religion. In the poetry, it was mentioned about azan and burqa. Some parties have even reported Sukmawati to the police.
“This is the problem, and as we see it, her father was the founder of Pancasila and his daughter insulted Pancasila in the context of Belief in the one and only God,” Novel said.

Regarding the plan of Islamic Defense 64 rally that will be held on Friday, Novel said, it will prioritize women in the delivery of aspirations. According to him, the poetry will be read by the women in turn. “The rally is about the blasphemy, we will also report Sukmawati Soekarnoputri,” he said.
