PPATK Claims Could Trace The Family MCA Fund Flow in a Month

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Head of Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin claimed that they are able to trace the Family MCA (Muslim Cyber Army) fund flow within a month so long it has the same pattern as Saracen Group.
"If that's the case, it doesn’t take several months, just a month and two," said Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs office, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 7.

The Family MCA was charged for allegedly spreading hate speech and hoaxes news, such as the rise of the extinct Indonesian Communist Party (PKI), Ulema abductions, and verbally attacking the Indonesian president, government, and several public figures. The four members of the MCA core group were caught by the Directorate of Police Cyber Crime.
Earlier, PPATK had traced the fund flow of Saracen group, Kiagus stated. PPATK submitted its analysis report to the police regarding the Saracen case.

Kiagus argued PPATK would be better to have complete information related to the case that being investigated by other agencies. However, PPATK will send the reports despite waiting for the call.
Kiagus claimed PPATK and the Indonesian National Police may have coordination regarding the Family MCA flow funds.
