TEMPO.CO, Bogor - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) handed out land certificates to 15 thousand people from four sub-districts in Bogor Regency, West Java. "This year, we target seven million certificates to be distributed," said Jokowi in Sentul, Bogor regency, West Java, Tuesday, March 6.
In 2019, the land certificate will be delivered as many as nine million throughout Indonesia. "In Bogor, 80 thousand (certificate) must be submitted (next year), not negotiable." Jokowi added.
Land and Spatial Planning Minister Sofyan Djalil said Bogor Regency targeted to distribute 80 thousand land certificates in 2017. However, only 61 thousand land area had been certified up to now. "The rest is hampered by disputes problem and others," he said.

Sofyan promised to issue the certificate once the dispute was over. For this year, Sofyan claimed the target still remains and hoped that the distribution will be completed sooner.
There are as many as 379 thousand fields in Bogor Regency. Up to now, 198 thousand fields already certified. So there are still 181 thousand more to be completed. "Hope in 2019 all the land in Bogor completely registered."
Jokowi advised the recipient to keep the land certificate well. Should they want to make a pledge to the bank, he suggested to reassess the payment.
