There are several things that will be assessed by the Tokyo-based agency, such as the land readiness along the Bunderan HI-Kampung Bandan, rail and station design, and the assurance of the project-affected residents.
According to Silvi, the land status certainty becomes a crucial factor assessed by JICA. The length of the land acquisition process during the construction phase I raises the project barriers.
Silvi stated the appraisal mission process lasted for two weeks. “JICA party has actually been back and forth to confirm and give input to us, it can be said that this is the last mission,” she said.
