Deddy Mizwar: SBY, JK to Campaign in West Java Regional Election

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java Governor Candidate Deddy Mizwar claimed that the Chairman of Democrat Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Golkar senior figure Jusuf Kalla (JK) will become the campaigners for him and his partner Dedi Mulyadi in West Java Gubernatorial Election.
“Mr. SBY and Mr. JK will help me in the campaign," Deddy Mizwar told Tempo in Bandung, on Wednesday, January 31.
“I and Dedy Mulyadi will campaign in the separate region, so it will be really effective,” said Deddy who is still tight-lipped about his strategy to win the election.
Deddy Mizwar said that he is still preparing the detailed campaign strategy. “I have not prepared the detail yet. And I should not reveal the strategy. The important thing is I have to meet the people, as many as possible,” he said.

The Secretary of PDIP West Java Abdi Yuhana, said that Tubagus Hasanuddin and Anton Charliya ticket, the pair that is endorsed by his party in the election, doubt that the Vice President Jusuf Kalla will join the campaign.
Abdi said that although President Joko Widodo is a cadre of PDIP, his party intentionally did not ask him to participate in the campaign. “He has more priority activities,” he said.
