While declaring the nomination of the couple in PDIP headquarters in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta Selatan on Sunday (7/1), Megawati stated that her party supports a lot of candidates for regional leaders with a background not only in military but also as law enforcement officers.

"I ask them, aren’t you ashamed by the National Military? Why won’t you stand as a representative of the policeYou have to fight for West Java," Megawati said in regards to the nomination of Police Insp. Gen. Anton Charliyan.

TB Hasanuddin and Anton, both wearing West Java traditional costumes,  made a ‘bro handshake’ in front of PDIP members.
