Garuda Indonesia Connects Banyuwangi to 9 International Flights

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National carrier Garuda Indonesia Airlines officially opened direct flight Jakarta - Banyuwangi on Friday, Sept. 8. Garuda Indonesia president director Pahala Nugraha Mansury said that Jakarta-Banyuwangi flight is connected to nine international flights and six domestic flights. 

The direct flight from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport departs at 02:10 in the afternoon and lands in Blimbingsari Airport at 03:55 in the afternoon. From Banyuwangi, the plane departs at 05:10 in the afternoon, and it will arrive in Jakarta at 06:50 in the afternoon. The route is provided by Garuda Indonesia on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The aircraft used for this flight is Bombardier CJ 1000 with the capacity of 96 passengers.

The international flights referred to by Pahala include Amsterdam, Singapore, Middle Eastern countries, and European countries. Meanwhile, the domestic flights connected to Banyuwangi include Medan, Lampung, Balikpapan, and Makassar.

"This direct flight is connected to nine international flights, and six domestic flights with less than three hours of transit," the Garuda Indonesia director explained after taking the flight debut of Jakarta-Banyuwangi.
