TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chief of Public Relation of the National Police Insp. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar said that the 10 individuals recently arrested have been named as suspects.
"[They have been named] as suspects. But whether they will be detained or not, we need to wait for 24 hours," Boy said on Friday, December 2, 2016.
Boy said that the arrest was made after three weeks of constant surveillance and monitoring. Boy explained that the 10 people were arrested because they were planning to provoke participants of the massive December 2, 2016 demonstration. "They have their own agenda apart from the Monas rally," Boy said.
The 10 individuals are AD (Ahmad Dhani), E, KZ (Kivlan Zein), FA, A, RSP (Rachmawati Soekarnoputri), RS (Ratna Sarumpaet), SB (Sri Bintang Pamungkas), JA, and RK.
Sr. Comr. Rikwanto, Chief of the Public Information Bureau if the National Police said that the 10 individuals were arrested for suspected conspiracy. "The evidence are being investigated," Rikwanto said at the National Police headquarter on Friday, December 2, 2016.
