TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pokemon GO application has officially entered Indonesia. The augmented reality-based game is now available to be downloaded through the AppStore and Play Store.
"Trainers [term used for Pokemon GO player] in 15 new countries and all parts of Asia and Oceania can now legally download the game from Play Store or AppStore," the game's official Twitter account @PokemonGoApp tweeted on Thursday, August 6, 2016.
The game's Facebook page listed that the app is now available in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Island, Federated States of Micronesia and Palau.
Previously, Pokemon GO players had resorted to downloading the game through third party websites, which can pose risks of malware infection.
The game has managed to achieve international success within a very short time. As a result, Nintendo –the game's developer – reported that its company's stock value rise significantly.
