Ihsan Maulana to Face Lee Chong Wei in Indonesian Open Semifinal

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The sole Indonesian representative at Semi Final of the 2016 Indonesian Open Ihsan Maulana Mustofa is up against the second seeded Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia.

Ihsan checked into the Semi Final after beating English shuttlers 21018-21-15. Ihsan said that he was ready to play against Chong Wei although his opponent is a senior badminton player.

"What matters is to play well and be confident. There are opportunities to beat him. I have to believe in myself,” Ihsan said.

In the meantime, Chong Wei said that he has the ambition to win his sixth Indonesian Open Title.

Chong Wei stormed into the semi final after beating Chinese player Wang Zhengming who retired.
