TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Dept. of Transportation plans to prohibit APTB buses operating on Transjakarta lane starting on June 1.
“We give them the option to join with us,” said Andri Yansyah, head of agency, Sunday (5/22).
According to Andri, APTB existence is only agreed by local head of departments. Later on, APTB could operate again after getting license from transportation ministry. But the operation is not on Transjakarta lane.
“They will operate on regular lane. And APTB name must be erased because they are not integrated with Transjakarta anymore,” he added.
The policy is taken since APTB bus often taking passengers outside the Transjakarta shelter. If taking passengers at Transjakarta shelter, the bus can not ask money to them.
