TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Thousands of visitors flocked to the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Jakarta event held at Hall 10 of the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tangerang.
“I’m looking for children’s books and books about economy. Since I’m an entrepreneur, I need those books,” Handri, 43, a visitor of the book fair said at the event location on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
Handri, who lives in BSD, admitted that he was happy with the book fair. According to Handri the prices of the books are cheaper than those sold in regular bookstores.
“The book prices are cheaper here. Those in bookstores or overseas are expensive. So, I spare my time to come here,” he added.
Based on Tempo’s observation, the number of visitors continued to increase. Various books available at the fair include fiction, cooking books, business, novels, children’s books, photography, and reference books. As many as 30 checkouts are provided to serve visitors.
The event is held from April 30 to May 8, 2016. On holidays, the organizing committee opens the book fair for 24 hours. The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Jakarta is opened for free.
