TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Construction Bakauheni-Lampung toll road is targeted to finish in 2018. “We have a target to accelerate the construction of this toll road,” said BUMN Minister Rini Soemarno on Monday.

The target is to coincide with Asean Games in 2018. In order to speed up the construction, several state-owned companies are involved, such as PT Adi Karya, PT Waskita Karya, PT Wijaya Karya and PT Pembangunan Perumahan.

Rini said those companies will build the toll road together in several sites so that the process can go simultaneously.

Rini hoped the location can be determined soon before Idul Fitri so that the construction can begin immediately.

The road construction must go in accordance with the set target and BUMN Minister reprimand companies that work slowly and will keep monitoring its development.

However, everything will be discussed first with the Lampung Provincial Government regarding the road construction in Lampung.
