TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Apple has canceled its plans to introduce the ultra-high-definition television (UHD TV), according to the Wall Street Journal.
The report revealed that Apple was focusing on creating an online TV and redesigning its Apple TV.
Previously in March, the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple planned to introduce its online TV this June that would be released in September.
According to the report, Apple also expected to unveil the slim version of the Apple TV with a redesigned remote control and updated software in next month’s development conference.
The iPhone maker has longed hope to enter the television market with products wider than the current Apple TV that would allow users to access iTunes and other services.
