TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - South Jakarta Metro Resort Police have not received results from the urine and blood sample of Christopher Daniel Sjarif, the 23-year-old male suspect of Pondok Indah car crash, where the police could not yet book him with narcotic charges.

Chief of Drug Division to South Jakarta Metro Resort Police, Ajun Kombes Hando Wibowo, said the police are still waiting for the result from the Indonesian Police Headquarter’s Center Forensics Laboratory and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).  “We shall refer to the lab evidence,” said Hando.

Christopher confessed to the police in using LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) drug before driving the Mitsubishi Outlander.  “But that could just a confession and should be proven with the test result,” said Hando.  The test result is expected to be out today.

Christoper is charged with Article No. 22 Year 209 on Traffic violation.  He is suspected in violating Article 310 and 311 on negligence driving causing death to other civilian.  Four bikers died while five others were severely injured.

Temporary test results show that Christopher drove his friend’s Outlander, belonging to Muhammad Ali Husni Riza, 22, at speed.  Christopher did not stop eventhough after crashing two motorcycles after Gandaria City underpass.  He finally stopped after hitting four other motorcycles and two cars.

Christoper’s attorney, Agus Salim, said his client admitted in using the first class drug.  “He used that and said it was his first time,” he said. Christopher was unconscious ever since he left the Pacific Place plaza with Ali.  “Maybe it was the effect of LSD.”
