Julius Adravida Barata, spokesperson for the Transportation Ministry, said there are three maximum price increases for train fees, each for long, medium and short-distance route.

For long-distance trip, the maximum increase is Rp13,000, and for medium and short-distance trip, the maximum increases are Rp9,000 and Rp3,000 respectively. Barata said the changes apply to all regions in Indonesia.
