Indonesian and Philippines Authorities Agree to Cooperate in Hunting Al Ghozi

The government has therefore welcomed the offer of cooperation from the Philippines government to hunt Al Ghozi.
The matter was the main topic at a bilateral meeting between Indonesia and the Philippines at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali, during a break of the Asia-Europe Foreign Affairs Ministerial Meeting (ASEM).
During the 1.5 hour meeting, the Philippines was represented by its Minister of Foreign Affairs Blas F. Ople.
We have similar interests in handling terrorism cases. Moreover, there have been arrests of members of the Jamaah Islamiyah organization in Indonesia as well as the discovery of hidden weapons, said Indonesian
Minister of Foreign Affairs Nur Hassan Wirajuda. According to Wirajuda, the Philippines Police chief and Intelligence Agency chief will soon meet with their counterparts from Indonesia to discuss the realization of the cooperation.
