TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said Malaysian officials would release a report to answer lingering questions regarding the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

"I have directed an internal investigation team of experts to look at the report, and there is a likelihood that next week we could release the report," Najib said in an interview with CNN on Thursday.

He also asked an investigation team to see whether there would be additional information that could be added to the report.

CNN wrote the report had already been sent to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the UN body for aviation, but not made available to the public.

Malaysian and Australian officials are crafting a long-term strategy to search for the MH370. The underwater search in the Indian Ocean using Bluefin-21, an unmanned submarine drone, is also still afoot to find the missing plane's black box or debris.

The search has so far covered 90 percent of the search locations, but Bluefin has yet to spot anything related to the case.
