TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - If you are a fan of French bakery, maybe you could try a bread a la France that 'Passionnee Bread and Pastry' offers, in Jl. Brawijaya V, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The bakery store which just opened on Saturday, March 8th 2014, offers variety of premium French foods made from bread.
"We use import butter but still carrying a homemade neighborhood bakery concept, because it is a part of a corporate social responsibility and to attract customers," said the owner of Passione, Anandita Makes, 23 years old, when interviewed in her bakery home, Jl. Brawijaya Raya No.4, Sunday, March 9th 2014.
Passione products in the form of sweet foods (bakery and patisserie) like apple tart, pear tart, and mushroom quiche. Before it was launched, Anandita sells her homemade bread online since October 2013. She claims to like French cooking since she was still studying in Boston College, United States. "I did lots of testing and chat with many chefs, then made my own recipe," she said.
The unique thing is, the girl that works as a financial adviser in a famous accountant firm still cooks the breads in Passione. "I still wake up at 01:00 am to make bread until 06:00 am," said Anandita. After making the breads, she still has to get ready for work located in the vicinity of Jl. Sudirman.
Anandita is not ashame to offer her apple tart to famous Indonesian celebrities such as Raline Shah, Dian Sastrowardoyo, William Wongso and Luna Maya. "The feedbacks are good. William Wongso said that he liked my apple tart," said Anandita.
