TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Investigation on the bribery case involving former Chief of the Special Taskforce for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activity (SKK Migas) Rudi Rubiandini, is yet to probe the role of Boy Thohir, CEO of Adaro Energy, a person suspected of giving Rudi a US$700,000 bribe.
The money was intended as a gratification over a project involving Panca Amara Utama, a gas company where Boy also chair as CEO.
On November 24, 2013, Tempo Magazine stated that Panca Amara needed the project to provide supply for its amoniac factory. The project was later handled by Febri, a close associate of Boy.
Boy however, denied that he hds ordered any cash delivery to Rudi Rubiandini. He ensured that issues related to Panca Amara Utama project permit had been cleared when SKK Migas was managed by R. Priyono, instead of Rudi.
