TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Samsung Electronics Indonesia has opened its biggest store in Southeast Asia called Samsung Galaxy Square in Denpasar, Bali, yesterday. The 530-square-meter store is located at electronic shopping center in Teuku Umar.
"We have working partners and space in Bali that provide opportunity and large market in Bali," said Andre Rompis, PT Samsung Electronic Indonesia’s IM Business Vice President, in Bali.
Bali is a place where people from various countries meet, said Andre. "They can take a look at our products such as smartphones, tablets and cameras during the visit."
Bangbang Subagdja, Head of Samsung Experience Indonesia, said there are six zones of experience that can be utilized by consumers. The first is the live concept to try various Samsung products with photography feature.
Then there is the learn concept, which is aimed for children using gadgets for educational purposes with various apps. The next is the play concept, which features all Samsung gadgets connected to television monitor so that consumers can play all sorts of games.
Following are the connect concept where consumers are able to learn how to maximize social media, the entertainment concept which features various music and film. Last but not least, the work concept aimed at businessmen and young executives looking for the right product. "We want to get closer with Indonesian consumers," said Andre.
Samsung Experience Store had been previously established in three locations in Jakarta.
