TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Apple is reportedly stuggling in manufacturing iWatch wearable device. According to the report written by The Information website, the company is having issues in screen technology, battery life and manufacturing of this product.
Many rumors have spread regarding this iWatch, which will use OLEC screen. However, The Information explained, Apple is having difficulties in deciding the right screen to suit the battery life. Apple realized if they want the screen to be as sharp as possible, the battery life will be drained faster.
Previously, during a prototype testing in 2013, iWatch’s baterry could last for a whole day after being fully charged. This was below expection as Apple expected it to last for five to six days. For battery, iWatch will use battery with power of 100 mAh.
Other than problems in screen and battery, Apple is having a problem in deciding the final shape of iWatch. In addition to this, the iWatch team also lost Bryan James, an important figure who allegedly was working on the iWatch.
Although there are plenty of problems, Apple bellieves iWatch can be finished right on time. Apple admitted the company is currently working with another 'big' team to solve these problems so that it will be ready for launch this year.
