TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - DKI Jakarta Governor, Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, was again conducted his typical 'sudden inspection' to Jakarta administration offices throughout the capital city. But this time, one of the officer's appearance caught the Governor's attention.
Jokowi asked the head of the district administration office to assign a good-looking officer at the service booths. "Aside from good services, please assign a beautiful and cheerful officer instead of a sullen face like this," said Jokowi at the Pasar Rebo district office on Friday, October 18.
Jokowi and his deputy, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, repeatedly conveyed their eagerness to improve services in Jakarta districts administration offices equal to that on banks. Giving people a fast and friendly service on booths is one of the ways to achieve this.
In addition to that, Jokowi also put candies and mineral water glasses on top of the administration office's service table to enliven the office's gloomy athmosphere.
