TEMPO.CO, Texas - E! News confirmed that the house where Transformers 4 was filming caught fire. Fire brigade from Pflugerville and Austin finally overcame the fire before it burnt down the house.
In the incident, one civilian was reportedly injured and brought to a hospital. The authorities have yet to receive information regarding any victims. To E! News, the fire brigade said that the fire was accidentally started, and the house will be returned to the owner.
Mark Wahlberg, the main actor, and Michael bay, the director were also on the location. They were the first who initially smelled the smoke. A crew looked for the source and found the roof that was already burnt, and they immediately fled the house.
Mark Wahlberg even helped to secure the filming properties and costumes. According to witnesses, the fire probably was started by electrocution. One of the crew said, they were taking an 'arranged explosion' scene on the location at the time.
Transformers 4 is scheduled to be released in June 2014.
