BMKG Forecasts Cloudy Day in Greater Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasted a cloudy day in Greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) today, Friday, August 30, 2024. The lowest air temperature in Jakarta today ranges from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, but it could surpass 33 degrees Celsius during midday.

BMKG weather forecast reported that nearly all of Jakarta will be cloudy from morning to afternoon. Only North Jakarta will be partly cloudy today at around 10:00 a.m. local time, but thick clouds will cover the city for the rest of the day.

West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta are forecasted to have identical weather today. These cities will be cloudy all day except for brief clear skies in the afternoon. Similar weather is expected in East Jakarta and Seribu Islands, BMKG reported.

The weather forecast for Depok City in West Java shows a cloudy day ahead with a short partly cloudy period at around 04:00 p.m. local time Meanwhile, Bekasi City will be partly cloudy in the afternoon at around 01:00 p.m. and 04:00 p.m. local time. Bekasi will be cloudy for the rest of the day.

Bogor City, which rained yesterday, will also be cloudy today except for a partly cloudy afternoon. Meanwhile, BMKG forecasts Tangerang City to be partly cloudy in the morning and midday, while clouds cover its skies in the afternoon and evening.
