Bali’s pristine beaches and clear waters make it an ideal place for relaxation and rejuvenation, with an exhaustive list of exciting activities, from surfing and snorkeling to attending traditional festivals and sampling local cuisine.

Called the “Island of the Gods”, Travel+Leisure says that Bali's rich heritage can be experienced through traditional ceremonies, ancient temples, and intricate dance performances. Travel+Leisure readers also praised the Balinese people and the value for money because holidays on the island are relatively cheap for foreign tourists.

President Joko Widodo or Jokowi visited coffee farmers and joined the harvests in Kembahang Village, West Lampung Regency, on July 12, 2024, emphasizing the importance of boosting Indonesia's coffee production.

Indonesia has 1.2 million hectares of coffee plantations, both robusta and arabica, with West Lampung contributing the largest share at 60,000 hectares. At least 90 percent of those in the region are robusta variety.
