Prabowo said that he and Gibran would start working hard and prepare themselves to continue the new government.
"Now it is our obligation to work together. The people hope and demand that all political leaders cooperate, work for the people," said Prabowo at the KPU office, Wednesday 25 April 2024.

Head of the Technical Division for the Implementation of the KPU, Idham Kholik, said that the procession to determine Prabowo-Gibran as elected presidential and vice-presidential candidates was carried out as a follow-up to the decision of the Constitutional Court which rejected the presidential election dispute lawsuit, last Monday, April 22, 2024.
When reading the decision, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Suhartoyo, said that the Court rejected all of the lawsuits filed by the Anies Rasyid Baswedan-Abduk Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. camps, because the applicant's arguments had no legal basis.
The KPU at its plenary meeting on March 20 declared the Prabowo-Gibran pair as the winners of the 2024 presidential election. Based on the results of the final national recapitulation, Prabowo-Gibran received 96,216,691 or 58.58 percent of the vote.
Meanwhile, his two competitors, namely Anies-Muhaimin, won 40,971,906 or 24.95 percent of the vote. And the Ganjar-Mahfud pair scored 27,050,878 or 16.47 percent of the total valid votes cast with a total of 164,227,475 votes.
